THE URBANE LOBBY

the virtual gathering spot for residents of urbane apartments

Three years ago, residents started requesting free wi-fi--and they got it. When they wanted to pay their rent online, we contracted with a company to provide it. Requests for eco-friendly rental options resulted in our new Urbane on Center community.

What is the one big thing that would most positively add to your Urbane living experience?

We are aware of some of the past problems with the Free Wireless at Urbane and have hired an IT Consultant to add more AP’s, upgrade the equipment and create a much more reliable and better system. Work is in progress and we will keep you updated,

Brandt, Hello Thanks for the feedback!
Yep, We agree, balconies are favorable, particularly private balconies. Some of our properties do have common balconies, such as Crooks North, where there are Adirondack Chairs, and a common Stainless Steel Gas Grill, which is used and enjoyed frequently by residents there. There are also common balconies at Crooks South and Fairmont, where further amenities are forthcoming for those areas, Watch for updates! Thanks for the recommendation, we really appreciate the feedback!

There are a few things, all of the weeds that take place of any landscaping around the second building, the trash that blows around the parking lot, an open box of wires on the front of the second building, the molding that is falling off around second floor windows, indoor and outdoor lights that either do not work or come on at odd hours, and the moldy water damage that is all over the walls in the basement as well as long the sky light on the second floor.

Becca, Good Morning
Thank you for the list, wow, perhaps we should walk our property more often and pay closer attention to the details, that stuff is embarrassing. I apologize for the oversight. The lawn crew and our maintenance crews have been notified, and we hope to have the items cleaned up next week. Thank you again for sharing your comments, enjoy the weekend,

Well it has been two weeks with little improvement. The lawn crew was nice enough to wake me up at 7:30 this morning. So not cool!

Building Lights actually working. It's a new experience attempting to come and go after dark with one lone parking lot light because all the sensors on the building that link to that actual unit lights don't work.....ever...... It's amazing, let me tell you.

Wish list . . . a new, efficient boiler for Urbane on Washington!

Love the new(ish) planters out front!

Sanitation- what is going on with the garbage area? There is garbage all over the place... The sanitary department is not picking it up. Do we have to recycle? If so there are no bins for recyclables. Suggestion- there should be only one gate on one side and all garbage should be put in from that side, namely the side facing the alley. I am from NY in a building with over 1000 people living in it and I have never seen such a significant trash problem... Sorry to complain after the holiday but it is absolutely disgusting... if it stays this way you are bound to see RATS!
